Where are you located? What areas do you cover?

HPS Entertainment is based in Naples, FL and provides DJ services for all of Southwest Florida, including Naples, Fort Myers, Marco Island, Captiva Island, Sanibel Island, and surrounding areas. We are also willing to travel for an additional fee.

Are you licensed and insured?

Yes, we are licensed and insured. 

What types of events do you do?

HPS Entertainment has the experience and equipment to cater to any type of party or event. We specialize in weddings, corporate events, and Quinceaneras/Sweet 16’s, but we often entertain at country club functions, birthday parties, and holiday parties. We are also proud to be a part of the National Association of Wedding Professionals (NAWP).

What type of equipment do you use?

HPS Entertainment uses state-of-the-art sound and lighting equipment from professional-grade brands such as Mackle, Technics, Stanton, American DJ, Shure, Pioneer, and Ego. Our basic set up has 2 Pioneer Cdj’s, a mixer, two speakers, and a light.

How do you mix your music?

Our event DJ’s create a fun, enjoyable atmosphere by utilizing their love of music and incorporating seamless transitions between songs to keep up the energy on the dance floor. Mixing is done on the spot based on your desired environment, tempo and feel of the songs, and mood of your guests on the dance floor.

What types of music genres do you offer?

Our DJs play a wide range of music, including 50's, 60's, 70's, 80's, 90's, 2000's, Top 40, Country, Rock, Latin, Jazz, Contemporary, Hip Hop, Reggae, and much more. If there’s a specific genre you want played at your event and it’s not listed, we have the talent and resources to play the kind of music you want to hear.

Can we submit a “Do Not Play” list?

Yes, not only are you able to choose the type of music you would like played at your event, you can also choose the music you do not want played. Your “Do Not Play” list will provide us with a clear idea of your limits and expectations for the song selections at your event.

Do you have limitations on the music you play?

HPS Entertainment is happy to play any genre of music you request.  However, due to the rules set forth by the facilities in which we play, as well as the policies we have in place, we do not play explicit music at private functions.

Do you provide wedding ceremony music?

Absolutely! HPS Entertainment has an extensive selection of modern and classical music ideal for your ceremony, processional, and recessional.

When will the DJ arrive to set up?

We arrive one hour prior to the contracted start time of your event to ensure proper set up.

What will the DJ wear to my event?

Our experienced and diverse group of Naples and Fort Myers DJs are always dressed appropriately and professionally, regardless of the type of event.

Can we see you play before booking your services?

Unfortunately, we cannot invite you to come see us in action at another person’s private event. However, we do have videos available online for you to view and can provide a list of references at your request.

How far in advance should we book?

The sooner, the better. Popular dates are reserved early and can book up to a year in advance.

Do you provide packages?

Yes, we only want you to pay for what you need so we offer pricing and packages that meet all budgets, as well as a list of Party Enhancements to further customize the package you choose. Our Party Enhancements include additional lighting packages, mood lighting, accent walls, extra DJ equipment (if you would like more than one setup area), additional microphones, a projector, and even officiant and videographer services. However, our setup and breakdown is always complimentary.

We want to book HPS Entertainment. What do we do next?

To secure your date, just fill out our contract and submit your deposit. If you are securing our wedding services, we will then send you our 12-page wedding planner outlining your entire event.

What are your payment options?

Full payment is due before or on the decided contract date. We accept cash, personal checks, and all major credit cards.
